The Zaježová village is an ideal place for short strolls. The countryside has maintained its original landscape features such as meadows, pathways, fields and rural settlements. Precious picturesque localities create a network of “Village protected areas”. These include old beech and oak forests, interesting rock formations and wetland meadows with protected lady orchids, gold lilies and exceptional trees. Through the village of Zaježova, there is a tourist route called “Rudná magistrála”, which offers many choices for trekking.The main ridge of Javorie offers not only beautiful views, but also admirable rock formations.. Natural reservation Gavúrky (8 km on foot /by bicycle, 15 km by car) is located between villages Sása and Dobra Niva. The reservation is comprised from a number of majestic 200-300 year old oaks. The local pizzeria and local brewery selling an unpasteurized beer can be found in the village of Dobra Niva. Pliešovský lake (12 km) is the closest place, where you can go for outdoor swimming.
